Hedonistic practices in the mountains of desire
The goddess spreads her fingertips capturing the sunlight
From the highest point of the pyramid
Isis greets the earth where fertility is incubated
The vernal equinox
Planets align with the sun laying out the path
Our view is clear and the first bloom shows its face
on a once barren land
Colours light the sky in a display of life
Celebrations flying in the air
She kisses the terrain, spring has begun
The goddess spreads her fingertips capturing the sunlight
From the highest point of the pyramid
Isis greets the earth where fertility is incubated
The vernal equinox
Planets align with the sun laying out the path
Our view is clear and the first bloom shows its face
on a once barren land
Colours light the sky in a display of life
Celebrations flying in the air
She kisses the terrain, spring has begun

Nice tribute to spring :) I like the sentiment that out of a kiss, the new season begins.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this. Especially the accent on the Divine Feminine. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove it, Pamela. Spring comes, even when half the planet is topsy turvy. You gotta love her for that!

I am usually optimistic, even in lieu of events that occur in my life:)
ReplyDeleteI love this! What a way to usher in spring with this poem of Isis.

What a celebration! How upbeat and forward-looking! I love the first day of spring (I always did - but even more so now because my children were born on it!) You've poetically painted that first glow of the equinox!
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy:)
