Tectonic plates shift,
a seafloor spreading its wings,
widening, ready to engulf.
A bird falls, calls to others: follow
Thousands lay dead on the tremor.
Floodwaters devour humans,
as if to drench the dehydrated.
Everything is moving,
going in cycle
with hands grabbing from an angry lair
at unsuspecting life.
Fish gasping for one last breath
Thousands lay dead on beaches.
Apathy, our own worst enemy
When the volcano erupts: no surprise
as the molten rock
floods the valley at my feet.

Perfect imagery in this.
