It takes courage to go to the store
I’m agoraphobic
It takes courage to bed a new lover
My body is flawed
It takes courage to turn on the news 
The news sucks
It takes courage to say I love you
I know you’ll fuck me over
It takes courage to look at myself
and accept things as they are

    I'm so glad you tipped us off about the non-autobiographical nature of this. Nevertheless you have hit on some eloquent truths in your poem.

    I always think of you as a very outgoing person: it's a strange thought that our perceptions of our 'vertual' friends may have no real foundation.
