Smoke curls round my eyes,
choking me —
Wrong is on the right
Right is on the left
Remaining in between lines
As cancer consumes
Blindness helps us see
Silence wants to talk
Desperation heals the sick
— hopefulness watches death
From a tower of inlaid ivory with
Crimson flowers blooming in the
darkness …
Placing meanings on the wrong side
