The Shape of a Lemon poets united thursday think tank #37-lemons

A slender oval
hangs from a distant
tree with leaves wrapping
round it continuously.
When darkness comes,
no light left
A slender oval
finds shelter,
retaining its
bitterness and form.

  3. Perfect description. We are surrounded by fruit-filled citrus trees right now (Palm Desert). Amazing.
